Our Approach
The detection and diagnosis of gastrointestinal disorders has been made easier with the use of endoscopy. Endoscopy is the insertion of a long, thin tube directly into the body to observe an internal organ — such as the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract — in detail.
This minimally invasive procedure type allows a gastroenterologist to make a comprehensive examination inside the digestive system without the need for surgery. The same physician also interprets the findings and makes appropriate recommendations.
We also provide open access endoscopy services—meaning, if your personal health care provider feels that you need an endoscopic procedure, we can do it without a pre-procedure office visit with us.
