After graduating from Furman University in Greenville, SC, Dr. Halliburton attended Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC. He developed his interest in Gastroenterology while working at the world-renowned Digestive Disease Center at MUSC. Dr. Halliburton served as an intern and resident in Internal Medicine at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. He has also completed fellowships in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL.
